Fresh Faces: Slimthick Vic

LOS ANGELES — The rising star known as Slimthick Vic likes being mobile, whether she’s moving to a different city or exploring a new career.

“I still enjoy moving—usually every few years,” she says. “I’m very willing and it seems like not a big deal for me to pick up and start new, especially if it’s a better opportunity somewhere else.”

Born in Sacramento, the performer has lived in Montana, Colorado, Panama City, Panama, Georgia and most recently Florida before she relocated to LA in January to continue her rapid rise in adult.

“I’m definitely a go-getter,” Vic admits. “If something sparks my interest I’m all for doing it, even if it puts me outside my comfort zone… This was something I was always curious about, especially growing up so sheltered.

“As I got older I felt more secure in who I was and more confident and I decided to give it a go. … I really like it.”

It shows.

Slimthick Vic in her first seven months has made the rounds with several of the top studios and performers in the industry, counting scenes with the likes of AVN Hall of Famers Jules Jordan, Manuel Ferrara, Michael Stefano, Keiran Lee, Francesca Le and Mark Wood and answering the call from blue-chip labels such as BangBros, Brazzers, Reality Kings, Naughty America, Nympho, PervCity, SmutFactor, Slayed, Blacked and Deeper.

There’s been no need for Vic to work her way up to major bookings. The Spiegler Girl already is proving she belongs in the big leagues.

“Before I got into porn I honestly didn’t watch a whole lot,” Vic confesses. “I’ve been told these people are basically famous in the porn world, so I feel very honored to have shot with them, especially after being told how long they’ve been in the industry and all the awards they’ve won.”

Francesca Le knows raw talent when she sees it. Now based in Florida with her longtime partner Mark Wood, the couple have been performing and producing for more than 20 years. Francesca raved about Vic’s energy and attitude after two outings with her.

“She’s so good,” Le tells AVN. “She loves sex and loves what she does.”

Le and Wood’s new site SmutFactor focuses on anal sex, but they made an exception for Vic.

“Francesca is so sweet, I really like her,” Vic tells AVN. “I shot for SmutFactor with both her and Mark and then Francesca and I did content together a couple a weeks later. I really like them and her in particular—she’s super down to earth and just genuine. We had a great time.”

Vic may be new to professional porn, but she isn’t new to the world of adult. She dabbled in nude modeling in 2017 when she had a Patreon account for a short time.

“But I couldn’t really figure out how to make it profitable,” Vic recalls. “That’s when I started stripping and then OnlyFans became a thing.”

She started on OnlyFans sometime in 2019 while she was still dancing, but she wasn’t focused on growing her platform due to spending so many late nights at the club.

“I stripped for like three years mostly in Atlanta,” Vic says. “I liked it but the reason I stopped was because of the pandemic. Also I’m much happier doing what I’m doing now versus stripping because I don’t have to deal with people who are way too drunk and don’t know how to behave. But it was a great experience overall and I’m so glad I did it.”

It was around when Slimthick Vic first began posing nude that she created her memorable stage name.

“That was my handle that I just sort of came up with because my name is Victoria and it just rhymes and I thought it was cute,” she says.

Still, some studios prefer to credit her with a more traditional stage name, so she also is known as Vic Marie, which was how she was billed in her splashy debut for Kayden Kross’s Deeper—opposite AVN Award-winning performer Troy Francisco.

“I loved shooting for Deeper,” Vic says, adding that she loved the drama aspect of the scene titled “Show Goes On.”

“I did go to acting school for a short period of time and I’ve done quite a few plays. It was nice to be back in that kind of environment.”

Vic continues, “I would love to shoot [for Kayden] as many times as I get the opportunity. She pays a lot of attention to detail, but she also wasn’t like overly critical or over-directing.

“For the sex part she pretty much let us do our thing. The whole design of everything was amazing. We shot that back in November… It was a surreal experience. I shot the Blacked scene with Troy and then the Deeper scene only a few days apart.

“Troy’s amazing at what he does and he obviously has had a lot more experience than me. So it’s really helpful when the guy is experienced and sort of leads you. And he’s very passionate, which is helpful in bringing that raw emotion into the sex.”

Super agent Mark Spiegler saw something in Vic at the beginning.

“When she contacted me, she had like I think 200,000 followers on Instagram already and she was doing well on Twitter and doing a little bit on OnlyFans,” Spiegler tells AVN.

“She’s all natural with a booty, really professional, really pretty. Everybody who’s shot her said she was great. So I set her up with some shoots in Florida first, about a month before Thanksgiving.”

Spiegler estimates that Vic worked about 30 times in a 36-day stretch in October-November 2021. She stayed at Spiegler’s home when she would come to town in the early days.

“I told her if you really wanna do well over the long haul you’ve gotta move out here, and within a month or so, she was here,” he adds.

Vic says that Spiegler, who has represented a remarkable seven of the past nine winners of the AVN Female Performer of the Year award, was the only agent she contacted. She became familiar with him from watching the “Holly Randall Unfiltered” podcast on YouTube.

“That’s what kind of sparked my interest in porn and the porn world,” Vic says. “[Holly] talked about Spiegler a few times and I got in my mind that he was going to represent me. And if he didn’t take me I just wasn’t going to do porn.”

Vic remembers her excitement after emailing Spiegler and receiving a reply, asking her to send him some photos. But when she didn’t hear back from him for a couple hours, “I thought for sure it wasn’t gonna happen,” Vic says. “And then he said, ‘When can you get on a call with me?’ And I was like over the moon.”

Vic did her first scene with veteran stud JMac for Reality Kings in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

“I was definitely nervous,” she says. “The crew was probably one of the best you could possibly have for your first time. They were so nice, so relaxed and laid back. And JMac was so nice. He’s really great at what he does, the director as well.

“I remember quite a few people watching the scene, which was like a different experience for me. But in the end you’re kind of just tuning them out anyways. Because you’re just experiencing these intense feelings. It went better than I expected.”

Seven months later, Vic says without question, “I’m having a lot of fun.”

“Actually I’m enjoying it more than I thought I would,” she tells AVN. “I didn’t really have any specific expectations coming into it—I was pretty open. I’m surprised how much I’m enjoying it and I plan on doing it for as long as I can.”

Before adult, Slimthick Vic worked as an esthetician in Boulder, Colo., where she owned her own spa. She calls that time in her life “definitely a great learning experience” even though she came to the realization “that I wasn’t very inspired doing the work I was doing.”

“I did that for three years and I sold that before I moved to Atlanta and started my venture into the sex industry,” Vic says.

She also worked as a chef at Whole Foods and as a personal trainer.

“I made omelettes, made-to-order omelettes and breakfast foods,” Vic says. “It was actually pretty stressful. It made me realize the ins and outs of Whole Foods. It’s just another corporation when it comes down to it. Working there really pushed me… That’s when I went to esthetician school and started my own business.”

Vic admits she’s “pretty good” at cooking.

“My mom taught me and I have been experimenting with cooking for most of my life really,” she reveals. “I am a good cook, but I don’t like cooking anymore.”

When she isn’t performing, Vic likes doing yoga, hiking, working out and going to the beach.

“Lately it’s been more that just I want to move in some way most days,” she explains. “Some days it’s just stretching. Some days it’s hiking, sometimes it’s yoga. I’m not very structured. I used to be very structured, but I’m enjoying having a bit more of a flexible schedule.”

Fresh Faces: Angel Gostosa

Before she packed her “set bag” and Ubered to her shoot, Angel Gostosa had to focus on another order of business.

English class.

It happened time and time again last spring, when Gostosa—then an 18-year-old high school senior—would make midweek trips from her native Virginia to Los Angeles to embark on her new career in porn. Determined to earn her diploma, Gostosa monitored each of her classes via Zoom so she wouldn’t fall behind.

“I’d be online at 6 a.m. in LA—and no one in my class back in Virginia knew that I was about to go have sex all day,” chuckles Gostosa, who graduated last May. “It was fun having that little secret.”

One year later, nothing about Gostosa’s adult industry career is hush-hush. The 5-foot-3 Brazilian with jet-black hair and a picturesque posterior is creating a buzz among directors and producers, who are showing increasing interest in one of the industry’s hottest newcomers.

“Angel was a quiet girl when we first signed her up,” says Sandra McCarthy, who represents Gostosa for OC Modeling. “But when she’s on set—as soon as the camera turns on—she lights up. She’s a great girl and an amazing performer.

“I’m excited to watch her grow. We have so many great things planned for her future.”

Mapping out a career in the adult industry would’ve seemed far-fetched for Gostosa just a few short years ago. Entering her senior year, her plan was to go to college and pursue a job in elementary in education.

“I love working with kids,” Gostosa says.

Things changed, however, when the COVID outbreak prompted Gostosa’s high school to switch to online classes for the entire 2020-21 school year. Bored at home and restless with an abundance of free time, Gostosa followed the path of a close friend and launched an OnlyFans account on her 18th birthday. Instead of the modest wage she once made as a barista, Gostosa began earning a considerable income by posting naughty photos along with solo and boy-girl content.

Gostosa began using Twitter to promote her OnlyFans page, and it only took a few months for her to be discovered and contacted about an agent within the adult industry. Gostosa signed a contract, shot a solo scene and felt comfortable enough in front of the camera to transition into boy-girl content.

“I used to get so nervous,” Gostosa says. “I just came across a Snapchat memory from a year ago when I did my first boy-girl, and I was talking about how scared I was. I was afraid people were going to judge me. But now that I’ve done more scenes and seen how the industry actually works, I’m not scared anymore at all.”

For a newcomer, Gostosa is as marketable as they come. She’s freshly 19—her birthday was in February—and boasts a body void of tattoos. Her size 30B breasts are all natural and she makes regular gym visits to make sure her butt stays in tip-top shape for all those attention-grabbing pictures on social media.

Although she was born in America, Gostosa is proud of her heritage. Both of her parents are Brazilian.

“And,” Gostosa says, “I love sex. I think that’ll be obvious to anyone who watches my scenes.”

While many performers enter the industry with loads of experience, Gostosa is discovering new things about her sexuality right before our eyes. She says she’d only had intercourse with three people before porn.

“That hasn’t mattered one bit,” Gostosa says. “The male talent … they just make you feel very comfortable on set. They’re really understanding. The directors position me in a way where the angling looks the best, and I’ve picked up on the best positions to be in.”

Gostosa says she never could’ve fathomed that she’d enjoy things such as having her toes sucked.

“It feels really nice,” she laughs. “I also found out I like harder things, like getting choked and slapped—the kinky stuff. It’s fun, because everyone is so open about what they like. People keep trying new stuff with me to see what I’m into.”

Some of Gostosa’s most memorable shoots to date include a group scene with Lilly Bell, Spencer Bradley and Alex Mack for Naughty America and a tryst with Lily Lou, Oliver Faze and Elias Cash for Sister Swap. She’s also proud of her boy-girl scene with longtime male performer Marcus London for Team Skeet.

As she continues to improve as a performer, Gostosa says she’s trying to remain cognizant of all the little things that impress directors and colleagues. That includes maintaining a strong social media presence, practicing good hygiene—“I brush my teeth four-to-five times a day,” she says—and being on time to set.

“Most days I’m the first one there,” Gostosa says. “Like … the makeup artist will pull up and I’ll be sitting outside, waiting. I’m always excited to go to set.”

Gostosa moved from Virginia to Las Vegas last year. She left her initial agency and signed with OC Modeling in the fall.

“The feedback and support has been all positive,” Gostosa says. “I always ask for constructive criticism from directors, just so I can get better. I love my job and I don’t have any plans to slow down.”

An advocate against bullying, Stanfill says her father is her personal hero. “He came here at a young age as an immigrant from the Philippines,” she recounts. “He then joined the Air Force and flew F-18 fighter jets, then dedicated his life to saving others as a paramedic, then firefighter, then battalion chief! He received commendations from the Governor of Georgia for saving a young boy from a burning aircraft and other heroic acts.”

Instagram Influencer Detained by Bali Authorities for ‘Obscenity’

BALI, Indonesia — A Russian influencer who posted on Instagram a semi-nude photo of herself in Bali last weekend was detained by police after a local celebrity politician alerted the authorities to a supposed act of “obscenity.”

On Sunday, Alina Fazleeva posted an Instagram-ready semi-nude photo taken during her stay in Bali, in which she can be seen leaning against a large tree with intricate roots, with her arms and legs covering her nipples and pubic area.

The tasteful photo is not dissimilar to scantily clad images that social media influencers — including many adult performers — share daily on the internet, at home or while visiting other countries.

Unfortunately for the Russian influencer — who boasts almost 17K followers on Instagram — the Bayan tree in question is considered sacred among the communities surrounding Babakan Temple in Tua Village in the Bali region of Tabanan.

According to the local press, “this incident came to add insult to injury after another foreigner [“bule,” the word used by the local Indonesian press more accurately translates to “Caucasian” and can be considered a slur] was caught dancing naked at the summit of Mount Batur earlier in the month.”

Fazleeva was promptly detained by the Marga Police Department and, according to the Bali Sun, “has been fully cooperative and has taken strides to make amends for what she claims was an innocent mistake.”

An interpreter working for the Babakan Temple told the Bali Sun that “Alina insists that she did not know that the tree or the grounds were a sacred place, nor that nudity was not only illegal but sacrilegious. She was joined by her husband during questioning by the local police. It is understood that it was her husband who joined her during the 10-minute photo shoot.”

Fazleeva and her husband have reportedly “committed to pay for any costs incurred in performing a full cleansing ritual at the temple and the tree itself.”

After being released by the police, the influencer returned to the tree to take another picture praying while apologizing for her actions.

“It seems that this willingness to make amends is going a long way in ensuring that the criminal investigation does not escalate further,” the Bali Sun editorialized. “The case is still open so there may be further investigations, but if the community is satisfied that justice has been served then it is likely that the case will be closed.”

Fazleeva posted another picture on Instagram yesterday, her hands held before her face, close-eyed in a praying pose.

“I appeal to my friends and all the guests of Bali,” she captioned. “I unknowingly made a big mistake for which I regret [sic] and I want to tell you so that you don’t repeat it. There are a lot of sacred places in Bali and not all of them have information signs about it, as in my case. And it is very important to treat these places and traditions with respect.”

The Bali Sun stressed it is “likely that this case and the attention that it has bought online will serve as a reminder to visitors of all kinds to Bali, and to Balinese temples specifically, that sacred spaces must be respected; that they are not spaces conveniently designed for photoshoots, in spite of their highly photogenic nature. Communities across Bali are working hard to ensure that these kinds of incidences are handled seriously. They will waste no time in involving the police and immigration departments to ensure that justice is served.”

A Constant Reminder for Content Makers Abroad

The “Alina Yogi case,” as it is known in local media, was amplified by celebrity politician Niluh Djelantik, an entrepreneur and shoe designer who serves as Chairman of UMKM in the NasDem Party.

Today Djelantik took to Instagram to demand the deportation of Fazleeva, posting a series of DMs where she is seen telling the repentant Russian influencer to “convey this message to all your foreigner friends/photographers/models/influencers/yogi or how they called themselves [sic]; when in Rome do as the Romans do. Respect our homeland and follow the rules.”

The DMs also warn Fazleeva — whom Djelantik calls “ignorant” — that “Immigrations is following up on this matter. We have pornography law which include nudity public post [sic].”

As XBIZ reported last year, recurring arrests of influencers and other people making content they share online are constant reminders that adult performers who shoot content away from their home regions should always be aware of the laws and penalties for the production and distribution of what could be considered as “pornography” by local authorities.

Last June, an incident, referred in the local press as the “Porn Villa” or “Viral Villa” affair, concerned a couple posting a TikTok video that was noticed by locals.

The video contained the caption “Welcome to Our New Porn Villa,” and featured identifiable Balinese landmarks, which appeared to identify the popular resort’s location in the Umalas area.

Bali’s police commissioner told local press at the time that the authorities are in the process of posting signs warning tourists that pornography is a criminal offense in Indonesia, the Muslim-majority archipelago where Bali is located. Several sites around Bali are considered sacred to the local Hindu community.

The Indonesian press typically amplifies any scandals with sensationalistic headlines blasting any perceived sexual activity.

Indonesia’s harsh obscenity law was passed as “Law 44” in 2008.

PARIS — LELO and luxury design partner On Aura Tout Vu (OATV) will include their high-end sex toys in a charity auction benefiting Sidaction at Studio Harcourt Paris on Monday, May 16.

As XBIZ reported, the luxury sex toys were first presented in January on the occasion of Haute Couture week. The On Aura Tout Vu/LELO collaboration has been available only via special order. Last month, Diesel also unveiled their “reinterpretation” of two of LELO’s products, the Sona Cruise clitoral stimulator and the Tor 2 vibrating ring.

“Intimate accessories, of which sex toys are an integral part, have been transformed for a few weeks into real fashion items. Created for your deepest desires, the On Aura Tout Vu jewelry bags will allow you to hide your most intimate secrets,” noted a rep. “Where innovation meets audacity, these exceptional pieces naturally find their place among the new creations of [OATV’s] Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov.

The pieces highlight OATV signature touches like crystals, gold-plated cabochons and sparkling studs, and are matched with cases that match the shape of these unique accessories.

“We are proud to contribute to this project. By making this couture collaboration, we are highlighting the craftsmanship that is put at the service of a humanitarian cause,” explained an OATV rep.

Pornhub Releases 6-Part PSA Series ‘Pornhub Literacy 101’

NEW YORK—Adult entertainment portal Pornhub today unveils a six-part video series titled Pornhub Literacy 101 designed to shed light on how the site strives to promote wellness and healthy engagement with the content it offers.

The project is a collaboration with Liz Goldwyn, founder of The Sex Ed, a platform dedicated to sex, health and consciousness education. An acclaimed author and director whose credits include the documentary Pretty Things (HBO, 2005) as well as the forthcoming book Sex, Health & Consciousness (Sounds True, 2022), Goldwyn was recruited to helm Pornhub Literacy 101 with the creative aid of Phantom Planet frontman Alex Greenwald creating music for the series, and costume designer Heidi Bivens of HBO’s Euphoria imbuing it with a style referencing Golden Age Hollywood with a contemporary twist.

Intended as “a comprehensive guide for Pornhub’s 100 million+ daily visitors as to how to best and most safely interact with the platform, while underscoring Pornhub’s continued and unparalleled commitment to trust, safety and transparency,” Pornhub Literacy 101 features Pornhub ambassadors Asa Akira, Kira Noir, Natassia Dreams and Pornhub Aria, as well as top stars Emily Willis and Ricky Johnson.

The full six-part series is available today on www.pornhub.com and Pornhub’s official YouTube channel. Watch the trailer here.

“It’s important to me and to The Sex Ed to open up dialogue around sex, health and consciousness to the widest possible audience, and who better to partner with to do so than Pornhub, whose analytics reveal an audience that rivals those of the top mainstream streaming giants?” Goldwyn said. “As a researcher and educator in the sexual wellness space, I have known for years of Pornhub’s cutting edge technologies and safety practices, which far outweigh those of platforms many of us use on a daily basis. So, it was a no-brainer to collaborate with Pornhub on this series of PSAs.”

She continued, “Society needs to engage critically with pornography, especially as it exists at the nexus of media, entertainment and technology. Pornography is ingrained in all these aspects of our lives and having porn literacy is the first step to having the skills to process and understand our own and collective relationship with adult content. This means talking about the very things we tend to want to avoid, like cybersecurity, the sharing of nonconsensual intimate images and videos, and what performers themselves have to say about working safely in their business.”

Added Bivens, “Liz’s focus on sex, health and consciousness education through her podcast and platform The Sex Ed creates opportunity for all to learn and explore their sexuality in a safe and equitable way. While designing costumes for Euphoria, I was impressed by the show runners’ openness to casting adult film actors in roles which they might not usually be considered for and treating them with respect and dignity. Liz’s work to shift the public consciousness surrounding sex and health promotes safe spaces for people to explore these topics and helps to humanize those involved.”

According to promo materials for the project, “Pornhub Literacy 101 is the first visual representation of Pornhub’s core values: consent, freedom of sexual expression, authenticity, originality and diversity. Pornhub Literacy 101 provides further transparency and education around how users interact with the platform and emphasizes the priority Pornhub places on cybersecurity, trust and online safety, which includes a zero-tolerance policy for the sharing of any non-consensual images.
