LOS ANGELES—Mistress Cyan’s Sanctuary Studios will celebrate its reopening in Los Angeles with a kinky party at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 13.
Sanctuary Studios is one of the longest running and largest BDSM safe spaces in Southern California, featuring kinky classes, parties, LGBTQ+ fundraisers and meetings for the leather community. It has also served as a location for film and video production.

“This very special night marks the start of a new chapter in the Sanctuary legacy,” said Cyan, the studio’s founder and owner. “We started in 1999 as a weekly fetish night at a club in the San Fernando Valley, and we’ve served the leather community since, with a rented location in Reseda, then later by LAX. In 2022, we made the decision to scrape together every penny to purchase a property. In January of this year, we got the keys to the new home for Sanctuary Studios. While we know we will never be ‘finished,’ we feel that it’s time to start this new chapter with a celebration, and we are inviting our kinky friends across Southern California to attend.”
The reopening party will feature stage performances, open play rooms, a complimentary barbecue and free drawings for prizes, including tickets for the upcoming DomCon Los Angeles, a fetish expo founded by Cyan.
