WASHINGTON, D.C.—Free Speech Coalition is meeting with members of Congress this week in an effort to combat the constant financial discrimination faced by adult businesses. The team is holding over a dozen in-person meetings with House and Senate offices, and hosted a Congressional reception in the House for lawmakers and staffers on Thursday evening, sponsored by Segpay.

“When we speak as an organization and an industry, legislators listen,” says Executive Director Alison Boden. “They understand that we are legal, legitimate businesses and deserve the same rights as other industries. Most have no idea that this is happening, and many have already committed to helping us find a way to stop discriminatory banking practices. This is a big week for our industry. I thank our teams at FSVector and Clarity Consulting for helping make this happen, as well as Segpay for making the Congressional reception possible.”

FSC first met with legislators in December to lobby for banking fairness, and have continued conversations with Senate and House offices in the months since. In March, FSC released a report entitled, Financial Discrimination and the Adult Industry, which revealed, for the first time, the extent to which banking account closures, payment problems, and loan and insurance denials affect those working in the adult industry.

FSC’s Executive Director Alison Boden, Director of Public Affairs Mike Stabile and Board Treasurer Cathy Beardsley (Segpay) will be joined by FSC members Allie Eve Knox (Spankchain), Alana Evans (APAG), Sinnamon Love (BIPOC Collective), Zoe Ligon (Spectrum Boutique), Jessica Goedtel (Pavilion Financial Planning), Fivestar (Filthy Communications), and Jessica Van Mier (MintStars, Harvard Kennedy School).

“Financial discrimination is the biggest issue faced by many adult businesses,” says Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley. “As a payment processor, we see the lengths that businesses have to go through to secure even basic banking stability, and we understand the cost that high-risk fees have on our livelihoods. LOS ANGELES—MYLF on Friday announced the release of their newest movie, Momster-in-Law.

This parody of the 2005 Jennifer Lopez film, Monster-in-Law, stars MYLF of the Month for May 2023, Ryan Keely. It will follow the same format as MYLF’s previous movie The Price of Perfect and will be unveiled in three parts as a crossover release between three of the network’s most popular series Mylfwood, Mylfed, and Bad Milfs.

Mylfwood drops the first part of the movie, Momster-in-Law Part 1: The Engagement. The plot follows the engagement of Ryan’s stepson Oliver Flynn and his girlfriend Serena Hill, and while Serena is over the moon with joy, Ryan isn’t quite as thrilled. With passive aggression to spare, Ryan takes on the role of the shady lady with an odd infatuation with her stepson as she tries to ensure she won’t be replaced in his life.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—The X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) held its 39th annual awards ceremony Thursday night, once again at storied Hollywood nightclub Boardner’s by La Belle, with a gaggle of adult’s biggest stars in attendance to revel in the traditional pandemonium of the industry-only affair.

Jennifer White hosted the evening’s presentation of more than 30 awards, assisted by “Heart-On Girls” Caitlin Bell and Lily Starfire, who handled distribution of the XRCO’s Lucite trophies to all of the winners throughout the night.

Commanding the number of trips to the podium, by a considerable margin, was Vixen Media Group, picking up trophies including Best Gonzo Movie (Blacked Raw V56), Best Gonzo Series (Blacked Raw), Best Girl/Girl Series (Slayed’s Play) and Best Anal Series (Tushy’s Anal Angels), as well as a Best Actress win for contract star Maitland Ward (for her performance in Deeper’s Drift) and another for Deeper honcho Kayden Kross in Best Director – Web.

That said, respectable showings were made by Casey Calvert’s quirky Lust Cinema feature Going Up—which earned Seth Gamble a Best Actor prize and itself took Best Release—and 2022 New Starlet Blake Blossom, who added Orgasmic Oralist and Personal Favorite trophies to her collection.

It also stars Adam Christopher as the Handyman and Smash Thompson as the Landlord. The parody is being released on adult video on demand with a special version featuring behind the scenes and more available on Nerds of Porn’s official site today, in celebration of Mother’s Day weekend.

“It was honestly a lot of fun. One of my favorite shows that I’ve watched from start to finish so that made it very interesting to fuck in a porn parody,” lead star James said.

Offered co-star and writer Dejour, “I’ve always been fascinated by what The Golden Girls represented. I wanted to make a parody movie that was funny, sexy, but also gave fans a glimpse at the new generation of mature MILF trans performers. It was a dream to work with Adam, Penny City and Nerds of Porn. We had a lot of fun making the smut, and I’m really proud of what we created. I love coming up with ideas and stories that can open eyes as well as zippers; and seeing my vision come to life on screen … it’s an amazing feeling.”

LOS ANGELES—Megan Fiore tells AVN she’s “a determined girl” both in her personal life and when she’s on the set.

“Also I’m ambitious, romantic and funny,” Fiore admits.

The 28-year-old, Italian performer worked as an artistic nude model for photographers in Spain prior to her making the move into adult entertainment in January 2022.

She estimates she’s done more than 80 scenes in the past year-and-half, many of which have yet to be released.

Some of her credits so far include multiple outings for PornBox, BangBros, FakeHub, LetsDoeIt, Reality Kings, Mofos and Private, among others.

“I start in this job with a casting for a local production in Spain,” says Fiore, who is from Florence, Italy, but has resided in Tenerife, Spain, since 2013. “My first scene was very good and I start to travel for work with the other productions.

“One of my best experiences in my job was when I work for Rocco Siffredi Productions. It was such a nice experience. I will never forget.”

Fiore says that the Hall of Fame director/performer’s reputation precedes him.

“Of course i know who is Rocco before. He is very famous in Italy. He is like a legend,” Megan continues. “My experience with him was so memorable because the type of work is very different. Everything is very professional. That’s why we did two beautiful films in two days.”

She likes anal boy/girl scenes and also threesomes with a guy and another girl.

“I like to work with girls,” Megan says. “I like my job because every time is different. In every scene you are a different character with a different story. And also you can meet a lot of people.

“In my career I understand to know better myself, my body and my limits.”

When she isn’t working, she loves doing sports—she’s been training in boxing for the past five years.

“I really love this sport,” Megan says. “Also I like to go out with my friends, going to the beach and traveling.”

Fiore says her favorite professional boxer is Ryan Garcia.

“When I don’t travel for work I train boxing every day from Monday till Friday or Saturday,” she tells AVN. “I’m very fast and my technique is very good. My best punch is my jab.

“I need to do boxing because it vents me and makes me feel good.”

Fiore reveals she’s traveled to Spain, Greece, Morocco and all through Italy, “but my best travel was Mexico.”

“I like to go out to Europe,” she adds. “Every year I want to visit a new place. This time I think to go to Thailand or Bali.’

Meanwhile, Fiore says her ideal romantic date would be “a picnic in front of the beach with a sunset.”

She says 2023 is off to a “very good start” for her.

“I worked for Brazzers and Rocco Siffredi,” Fiore says. “So my idea is to work a lot for the best productions.”
