LOS ANGELES—The first scene of AVN Male Performer of the Year and Best Leading Actor Seth Gamble’s new action saga Reckless arrived today from Wicked Pictures. Produced by four-time AVN Director of the Year Axel Braun, Reckless is an eight-part epic written, directed by and starring Gamble.
The debut episode, “I’m Your New Business Partner,” introduces viewers to Silas Knight (Gamble, performing his first lead in his own narrative project), a racing enthusiast and tech genius who finds himself enmeshed in a web of greed and betrayal after he creates a chip that radically improves car performance. From his true love Harlow Knight (2020 AVN Best Actress – Featurette winner Ivy Wolfe) to corrupt detective Matteo Bennett (AVN Hall of Famer Lexington Steele), everyone wants what Silas has.
As the episode opens, the tech entrepreneur and his wife are defying the clutches of rogue cops and an insidious cohort from the past.
“Silas and Harlow’s emotions play out so realistically that each fleeting moment with them reveals a wealth of intricate details,” Gamble said. “I went for very naturalistic dialogue, but with subtleties to suggest half-revealed secrets. When all the evidence of a crime points to Silas, Harlow has to make a decision. Broke and desperate to help him clear his name, she throws herself at the mercy of his former lover, Avena Moretti [Kenzie Anne], daughter of gambling boss Dino Moretti [Axel Braun].”
In addition to Gamble, Wolfe, Braun and Anne, the ensemble cast of Reckless includes Kenna James, Tommy Pistol, Ryan Reid, August Skye, Nicole Doshi, Nathan Bronson, David Lee and more. The director calls the lineup his “bucket list cast,” noting, “Their ability to infuse specificity into their characters, allowing the audience to find them menacing or devious or innocent, mirrors the types of interactions we may have with strangers every day of our lives. We are granted mere fragments, offered mere glimpses into their lives, but with talent of this caliber, the emotional reality feels authentic.”
Of his co-star in Reckless‘ first scene, Gamble enthused, “Ivy Wolfe truly excelled in her role as Harlow Knight. The chemistry and passion we shared while working together were beyond words. She possesses that special quality that shines on camera, particularly in her delivery of dialogue. The sex is filled with intense intimacy.
